Cracks in the Façade

The scalding water cascades over my body, a futile attempt to wash away the turmoil that’s churned within me. I stand beneath the stream, my thoughts a tempestuous swirl. Operation: Un-Closet the Closet is a failure, my grand plan unraveling faster than I could have imagined.

His arms encircle my waist, pulling me back into a secure embrace. The tender press of his lips against my neck is a soothing balm, even as my emotions remain in disarray. “I’m sorry.” His voice is soft, sincere.

Every fiber of my being screams at me to push him away, to demand answers and explanations for the pain he’s caused. But I find myself surrendering to the familiarity of his touch, the way his arms encircle me, and the warmth of his lips against my skin. It’s easy to get lost in the moment, to let his closeness envelop me in a cocoon.

“Blake,” I breathe.

“You owe me for breaking that dish and making me clean it up. Ceramic dishes aren’t cheap, you know? That’s at least five dollars at Wal-Mart.”

I puff a laugh and tilt my head to give him better access to my neck, the tension within me unraveling. The weight of my anger and hurt starts to dissolve under the soft press of his lips and the tender caress of his hands. Blake’s large thumbs brush against my nipples, rolling them between his thumb and forefinger. “Fuck, baby,” he hisses, attacking my throat with vigor.

All I can focus on is the sensation of him, the rhythm of his breath, the pulse of his heart. I moan when he reaches down and grabs my hard cock, twisting his wrist, while his other hand works my hole open. I’m still gaping from last night and we both moan when he breaches my entrance, his hot rod spearing me open. “Kieran,” Blake whines, thrusting to the hilt.
